I am a new patient and I will admit I was afraid due to the hype about the many needles ???? but all the pain I am having I was willing to do anything for relief. I saw Cindy this past Thurs and all I can say is WOW ???? Her skills is placing the needles was amazing ! I didn’t feel anything. The experience was so different than anything, I felt my body like twitching & a dull low pain Cindy said it was “resetting” itself. Since I have 50 yrs of issues to fix I did not expect a miracle for the first visit as this will take some time but I did feel some relief immediately. It was a very positive & calming experience & she walked me thru every step which was wonderful ???? I am kicking myself for not giving in to my fears years ago but I can’t change my past mindset, I can only go forward with positive healing thoughts. Great group of people working together to help you feel better. I’ve been going to Dr. Han for many years. She has gotten me through many  issues and has kept me out of the emergency room more than once. I can only rate Essential Health Acupuncture 5/5, but I would easily give them 100/5 stars if possible! When I first went to see Eileen Han in 2015, I was definitely uneasy about this controversial eastern medicinal approach. HOWEVER, nowadays, I look forward to these healing sessions. Upon my first visit, I came looking for some relief from anxiety, back pain, and insomnia. Eileen has undeniably grown over these last six years, and she was nothing short of remarkable in treating these ailments. Depression, migraines, circulation, and digestive tract issues are just a few of the different problems acupuncture can help treat. Eileen and staff are disarming, professional, personable, and comforting. So if you’re feeling adventurous, and want to feel something very similar to nirvana, go to Essential Health Acupuncture! You’re in for a truly special experience. When my session is over, I feel like I’m walking on clouds. I was recommended to come here by my office partner and I love Dr Eileen Han. Im not a super fan of acupuncture experience, but she gets big results and we are lucky to have access to her. These 5 stars aren't enough to describe kind, generous, and healing experience I had with Dr. Eileen Han and her staff. She treated me with love and compassion, diagnosed and effectively helped me with my condition. Her office staff were kind and attentive and ensured my comfort at all time. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Eileen Han.  She has been my acupuncturist for over a decade.  I originally started acupuncture with her mentor, the late Dr Richard Tan, and it is through him that I met his talented colleague, Dr Han.  I started acupuncture when I had cancer, to mitigate the 30 side effects I experienced during 9 months of chemotherapy.  Dr Tan and Dr Han cured all my ailments.  Most notably they cured the neuropathy in my feet and hands.  As a result,  I am endlessly grateful to them I can enjoy playing my guitar.  I have been coming to Dr Han for regular acupuncture "tune ups" ever since that time.  Dr Han's acupuncture treatments boost my immune system, improve my mental clarity, and increase my energy, vitality, and well being.  Dr Han and her expert team of caring staff are totally dedicated to their patients.  I love Dr Han's holistic approach, and she has a wonderful energetic, upbeat personality.   She displays a genuine interest in the healing, health, and happiness of her patients.  She is skillful, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient centered. She listens to my symptoms, and provides instant relief each acupuncture treatment, while being kind, caring, and compassionate.  My symptoms differ over time.  Irrespective of whether it is a sore throat, fatigue, menopause symptoms, stress, digestion, a sore shoulder, etc., Dr Han delivers results every time. In 2015, I had my initial visit with Eileen Han for a persistent dry cough I had since 2004 from a thyroid surgery.  I had gone through all the western medicine testing and was diagnosed with an idiosyncratic cough that all I could do was take cough medicine (like eating cough drops like candy).  I had been prescribed a steroid inhaler and a bunch of medications that did not help.  I then went to eastern medicine and saw another acupuncturist where I had some mild relief but then he relocated out of the state.  It got the point that I could not talk or breath hard without coughing.  I then did a yelp search for an acupuncturist in my neighborhood and Eileen's name came out on top.  Since I figured I had nothing to lose, I went and made an appointment.  Upon arrival, the waiting area was crowded and I was given a patient intake form and was told to wait.  I was shown a room where I sat on a recliner (different from the other acupuncturist where I laid face down on a table) and when Eileen came in and I told her by sad tale, she stated that she could work on it.  As a general pessimist, I asked her would it be like going to the chiropractor where I would see her for years on end without fixing the underlying condition, she laughed and said she could fix me!  The next few months included intensive treatments 2 to 3 times per week, plus a herbal concoction.  Within 4 months, my cough was GONE!  I could hold conversations again.  She did warn me that since that area of my body was weak, the cough would return when I got sick or when there were irritants that could not be avoided.  She also advised me to sleep with a humidifier which also decreased the coughing episodes.  I go back periodically to treat my cough when it comes back and have a back up bottle of herbs on hand (the expensive kind) that fixes me right up. Since then, we have become friends and she has treated me for my hot flashes and also my newly acquired high blood pressure.  She is alternately a close friend and a taskmaster.  I don't know where I would be without that fateful yelp search result.  I have also taken a few classes from her Academy of Acupuncture and can highly recommend the non-acupuncture ones as I'm not an acupuncturist.  So grateful #1.
